  4. As long as someone breaks Lampards ankle and we win i couldn't care about the media circus surrounding this 'Chelsea Crisis' (got a feeling its a bit of in house manufactured 'everyone hates us' type of thing). The Roman bit seems like a load of old cak, as if he cares if he's appreciated or not, I reckon if he misses LFC v CFC it'll be for a much more important reason as its one of the games of the season. OTOH No smoke............

  6. Something i'd forgot, when i went to the Deltasonic Christmas Party at the carling academy they were raffling of a Liverpool shirt and an Everton shirt. When they were brought on stage for the raffle, the liverpool shirt got a huge cheer and a smattering of boos whilst the Everton shirt got huge boos and a smattering of cheers. Not scientific i know but there were about 2000-2500 people in there and i'd imagine a pretty fair cross section of local people as it was a celebration for a local music label. Now i'd always thought that support was 50-50 for the two clubs and that the argument was ridiculous, I'd say its more like 65-35 in liverpools favour at the moment.

  8. Pretty Woman (Maybe Quite Apt????) Stevie Finnan, He'll knock you off your feet Stevie Finnan, The guy you'll never beat Stevie Finnan, no one ever, gets on through When Stevie Finnan's after you No mercy Stevie Finnan, step inside Stevie Finnan, take it wide Stevie Finnan, cross the ball for Crouchy (to either head it with no power whatsoever or scissor kick it into the bottom corner ) Stevie Finnan, yeah yeah yeah Stevie Finnan, yeah yeah yeah (just like everyone else does when you can't think of anymore words) Stevie Finnan the best right back in the league Always liked the second verse from the we've got a right back one even if it was a bit harsh it is quite funny. We had a left back called Traore When he played it was a different story Own goal at Burnley was his glory We had a left back called Traore.
  9. Pretty much spot on that. I've nothing against trying to improve the atmosphere but i reckon this 'movement' should be renamed 'Reclaim The Myth'. We can still outdo any other set of supporters when called upon and its only just over nineteen months ago i expereinced the greatest atmosphere i have ever experienced inside Anfield or at any ground.

  18. Agree with that - we won't play many sides who pass and move as well as arsenal did again this season when they were on top yesterday. The fact that our heads went down after the 1st goal obviously doesn't help matters but some of the Arsenal interplay was frightening.
  19. Unfortunately - football aint that simple and i know i am nitpicking but for all his height, i would say, Crouchy is not as effective in the box in the air as much as Robbie or Kuyt He's much more effective recieving the ball to feet or chest outside the box and linking midfield to attack. Fans get frustrated with Crouch in much the same way as Luis when he wastes a good heading opportunity yet we all know he can score from headers so they feel he should win more and score more from crosses.
  20. Luis Garcia The lad is a f***ing genius. Its his self belief and willingness to try anything that can leave fans frustrated. Weigh up the times his skill and ambition has won us games against the times his misplaced passes or the times he's underperformed has cost us games and he's worth double his weight in gold.
  21. It might be a variation and i can believe thats how it started but they definitely sang 'if ya luv the toon' at Anfield and also sang 'Shirt off, if ya luv the toon' Thought it might be a good put down after there pathetic attempts to hijack the signing of our Goal Machine and saying they stepped out of the way for us. Dirk Kuyt's a Goal Machine Feeding off our midfield Makes it look so easy scoring for fun Dirk Kuyt puts them away Like Keegan in his heyday He plays the liv'pool way Scoring for fun The Kop sings Girls Aloud probably only in our nightmares
  22. One to use when we play the Geordies next perhaps? To be sung just after the sing 'Shoe off, if ya luv the toon' Dirk Kuyt, He f***ing hates the Toon. Dirk Kuyt, He f***ing hates the Toon. etc..... Other possibles Dirk Kuyt, He f***ing loves Liv'pool Dirk Kuyt, He f***ing hates Man U Dirk Kuyt, he f***ing hates the blues
