TICKET MOCKERS Some of us dont actually have the tickets yet. Yes they have the money but we don't have the merchandise. If you look at it pessimistically theres still plentythat can go wrong. No-one in any pub team i've watched has anything near the power and technique JAR has with his left foot in their best foot. His inability to shoot with confidence with his right foot is a flaw in his game i can put up with (I don't see basic passing as a problem as long a the team realise his weakness and can give him an easy option occasionally). I'd be very surprised if a coaching plan to improve JAR right foot shooting hasn't been implemented but i'd rather he continued improving defensively though.

Great post. Been going since the early 80's and can distinctly remember worse atmospheres at some matches against teams like Ipswich, leicester and Watford than some of the ones this season. One difference from the Standing kop era is when we go a goal down there definitley used to be more of a reaction from the fans into getting behind the team to help them get back into the game. As for the Chelsea game - i hold that in as much esteem as the finals i've been to. We never got onto the fact that everyone was going in early and we arrived for our pre match lubrication at the usual time, but having drank half of it and the pub being nearly empty we left them and made our way to the ground, it was like a ghost town and the fact we had 4 watches all telling us we still had plenty of time till kick off, at the back of our minds we didn't believe them and ran towards the ground . You could hear the kop roaring all the way back to the george and it was Majestic.

Was thinking the same - Reckon It'll look fantastic on hot steamy nights at home in Europe against the big guns. Not sure what it may look like on a wet and windy Saturday morning against the Baggies or Pompey. Can't wait to see it so good luck in finishing the project.
