I guess the incentive for any midfielder we pursue is guaranteed start, the current competition is an 18 year old lad, possible statue built in their honor if they can sprint, tackle, run,or even pick a pass. The bar is as low as can be.

Newcastle vs Liverpool - Premier League, 18th February @ 5:30pm
Lark replied to ynwa.tv's topic in Liverpool FC
Why do we go full training casual kick about against 10 men? Dreadful performance after 30min mark. Being s***e v their set plays is one thing but the 3 on 2 when it's 11 v 10 should never happen. The inability to tackle throughout the side is appalling but most of all the game intelligence to hold the ball, move it, and just snuff out any counter is just amateur at times. Great win that I wasn't expecting same again midweek. -
Hopefully the grandson of lee harvey oswald.

I think it's safe to say, nobody has a scooby doo about the takeover. Stories and counter stories.

You never know with the premier league. With rio ferdinand (skipping drugs tests) and suarez (racism) i thought they'd get double a standard redcard 3-6 games - both ended up being banned for half a season. Cantona too a 9 month ban. I can't see a slap on the wrist, i.e docked a few points, a transfer ban, a fine, for 14 year fiddling of accounts to cheat rival teams out of honours and associated prize money will wash with other premier league clubs. Rightly so. Either the premier league throws the book at them or they themselves risk their own integrity. -
at least the opposition would be worried about the attack

It's done because we can't recycle cos we've no money to recycle so we cling and hope players, even injury prone players, can dig out a performance last seen in 2018. And it's gonna take money to replace 8/9 outfield unflushable turds Gomez, Matip, Philips, Milner, Hendo, Oxlade, Keita Firmino, Adrien It's a vicious circle that's only gonna break with new owners.

The takeover needs to happen asap. At this stage i'm not even f***ing arsed who.

"Clues as to FSG’s true intentions can also be found in the club’s most recently published accounts, which appear to show debt repayment being prioritised over making cash available for transfers."
-
it would be my preference too. f*** off FSG
-
SOS? Redmentv? crouchino? Hope it sinks slowly like the duck marine with us all stood watching.
-
We need 2 new cbs. Matip/Gomez can't be relied upon. We have to carefully manage vvd and konate.

Quite clearly the game's changed. I'm having flashbacks to when mufc opened their megastore at old trafford selling any old tat with a mufc logo slapped on it for extortionate prices while we had a portacabin selling 1quid photo prints of gary ablett mug. What was a slight difference in revenue between us and them in the 80s, became a gulf, cos we didnt react to any of the monumental changes. 30 years and us going the distance in all comps we finally pipped them. Only to throw it away again for being f***ing minge bags. Just have the same sick feeling. We may only have one chance to dine at the top table and we might blow it on some pr driven 'we do things different'.
-
Really the whole 'the games changed' quote from him makes you think that. Me thinks the opposite - he knows full well the only way to compete is for owners considerably richer than fsg. Rafa would have blew a gasket with this lot. Klopps shielded them until he gets narked with the questions. The only time he's looked remotely happy this season is when the were rumous fsg were selling to qatar.

allison trent konate virg robbo bajcetic + midfielder 1 + midfielder 2 salah jota diaz Not a bad first 11 but for 2 seasons we've been decimated with injuries and inbetween those injury hit season had a 60 game season. The squad is absolutely vital and it's just s***e. Ox, keita, milner, bobby, hendo, fab, nunez, gakpo, matip, gomez, ramsey, jones. I'm more excited to see 17 year old doak. To fix the squad needs a massive investment and fsg's annual 20m net plus sales aint gonna cut it.
-
There isn't a single signing we've made from the summer that actually breaks into the first 11 if all were fit. Not nunez, not gakpo, not carvalho, not ramsey, not arthur. Alot of money to not improve the first 11 not one iota.

i'll have a whiskey drink

we've had 2/3 titles legit robbed from us by the dirty rotten book cooking cheats. Uefa failed to take action despite finding them guilty, 2 fines, and the fa have spent 5 years investigating and nothing. So i'd like us to take matters into our own hands and win 2/3 titles, by hook or by crook, preferably with a 20 point gap so i can enjoy it, but if it's by a point or two so be it.
-
Qsi v qsa. Ultimately just f*** off fsg. John Henry, Linda, Tom Werner, LeBron etc just f*** off.
-
Also looking at spurs if FSG f*** around.
-
wouldn't work for him cos he told FSG he needed millions to fix the current side when they approach him. Unsurprisingly Klopp became their preferred choice
-
Why bring in the banks if its just a partial sale of shares? Like i said i hope it's just some t** for tat haggling but i really just wish they'd get on with it
-
Apparently Ben Wallace saying chances of full take over dwindling as fsg want to cling onto a majority share. Meanwhile rumours circulate qatar want utd. Just seems they are playing stupid f***ing haggling games. They don't give a s*** about us, just sell us and f*** off, go and buy a hockey team or some other yank sports team.
-
Does anybody have any good news on them selling up and f***ing off?
