might as well just give the recruitment job to gerrard & van Dijk they seem to be able to convince fellas to come here even if we can't afford them.
-
think you have to remember how bad moreno was

on 12 year deals just to spite john henry

There is a high possibility that Jude Bellingham (19) will stay at Borussia Dortmund for an extra year. @David_Ornstein
-
The echo is indeed s***e but if it appears there betcha bottom dollar it's already being widely spoken about.
-
for that to happen a few things would need to happen Allison virg konate, trent robbo, diaz, salah all remain fit for 99% of all league games, possibly 100% The new midfielders slot into a 433 seamlessly and do what fab/hendo cant do and offer protection cover for trent and robbo to bomb down the wings. Chelsea to remain s*** Arsenal to suffer cl games/post this season exhaustion united to not improve City to implode.

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/luis-diaz-liverpool-agent-interest-22209058 yeah totally left field this one
-
Aside from Bellingham - linked since he was at Birmingham. Just a few other names we've been linked with Caidcedo Mac Allister Rice Gravenberch Lavia Mount Gallagher Palhina Barella Veiga Sucic Scott Ugarte Thuram Nunes Tchouaméni Rabiot Tielemans Maddison Sangare Kone Bennacer Amrabat -------- Any left field surprises we expecting? oh and lindstrom. Isn't he more a winger?

christ you can literally go back in this thread and see people talking about diaz ages before it happened. It's gonna be a complete out of the blue shock when in June/july/august we land one of these 14 linked midfielders. I might need to sit down to recover from it.
-
Just not true, we were linked with diaz for ages as a potential replacement for mane, then spurs bid in Jan. We gazumped them in jan. Gakpo was also mentioned a lot as was man u's interest in them. The only surprise was us actually going ahead with spending the money on him when we are crying out for a midfielder.
-
Fabinho is the only one that's come without journo's and itks yapping about it for ages. I think some french twitter journo broke the news on that one.

when have we ever kept our council? we do nothing but talk all the time. FSG are the absolute antithesis of Sir John Smith's "We’re a very, very modest club. We don’t talk or boast but we’re very professional. It’s the Liverpool Way.”

Liverpool vs Arsenal - Premier League, 9th April @ 4:30pm

Depends on where they want the title to go. Tierney might give us everything for once to illustrate in the least meaningful match that he isn't totally and utterly biased against us (straight from the atkinson book of how to ref lfc) and Kavanagh swung last seasons title to man city with that non handball v everton. -

both sides were s***e, you missed nothing, we created nothing, a couple of hopeful hits from gomez and fab, they had a few chances they fluffed. Nothing exciting just a lot of poor football. Oh and yep we tried 433 again cos it's working so well for us as a system. -

ffs, why do clubs always sack their managers before playing us. -
Brighton wanted 100m for caicedo, they wont be selling mitoma cheap unless he has some clause in his contract and fsg don't do expensive. Better look at teams who at the bottom of the league harvey barnes leicester, the pair of wingers at leeds, west ham bowen or abroad to lindstrom/Szoboszlai for the 5m quid upfront and the 5 million across the length of contract type players.
-
if you can bare to watch, trent touches the ball three times, and each time it ends up at a city players foot, and nobody else on the team gets a kick, the remaining minute of footy is a horror show of ball watching, not reacting, not pressing, not even getting close to pull a shirt, kick an ankle, anything that one might consider a press or a tackle. From salah, to elliot (who's all over the place and not in a good way) to gakpo, to fab, to hendo. It's horrific.
-
it's targeted because elliot, who's played every f***ing game, and salah, cannot tackle and are not aggressive in winning the ball back. It's half arsed from the pair of them. With hendo, the mind is willing, but the legs aren't there, so he shouts, in the hope his shout magically wins the ball back. Fab is usually jogging back from the centre circle, Thiago is normally on the treatment table, and then there's milly who can't do two games a week. On the otherside we had diaz/mane who would get stuck in to help robbo. Its f***ing painful to watch every week the opposition target the right hand side and us do absolutely nothing. Whether playing gomez at right back and moving trent right mid, playing wingback, or moving to a four man mid. We've tried absolutely nothing and keep getting pasted away from home.
-
interested to see how virg and trent look if they ever have a competent mobile midfield in front of them, konate between them for more than 3 matches and a forward line that actually looks like they work together instead of what we have 4 individuals all on their own mission. I feel virg and trent both been victim of some vendettas. Gullit and van basten slagging virg and nev and southgate slagging trent, southgate can keep picking trippier, walker, and the fat one from Chelsea. Don't give a f***. No euro footy at all is a possibility now, so time for them to rest midweek. Would like to see another CB or 2 brought in for gomez, matip, Phillips possibly leaving. Would like to see Doak or a right winger come in who might actually track back and get stuck in, which lets be honest, salah rarely puts his foot in to tackle anyone, i'd rather see him stuck upfront if he's here at all next season.

433 to shock them keita to start and be subbed after 30mins -
sick of these players making utter dicks of us away from home. abysmal performance again. Didn't look close to opening Bournemouth up at any stage. How can we go from diaz mane salah to no wingers at the club in one summer. Every away game the f***ing horror of seeing nunez left wing, jota left wing, carvalho, elliot left wing. And then signing someone who is by all accounts a left winger and trying to turn him into bobby x2. Klopp scratching his head wondering why non wingers can't do winger like things. Wondering why teenagers in midfield can't physically match grown men. James pearce after dicking utd saying no major overhaul of the squad needed - and ya knew this was inevitable FSG yapping about spending frugally. Everything about this f***ing club drives me insane and i'd like to take a baseball bat to john henrys face.
