  1. well it's certainly an improvement on last summer and chancing it with 3. Still think we are chancing it with the forward line if shaq and div go as expected and we don't bring another forward in.
  2. oh well we'll just have to settle for haaland.
  3. expect midfield 3 to be fab, thiago, hendo should all 3 remain fit. Curtis and keita in reserve.
  4. looks like he's off for 6.5m. 80K wages a week or there abouts off the books. The fsg summer sale rolls on and on.
  5. Course they're gonna talk up the youngsters, next summer's transfer kitty depends on it.
  6. any nibbles.
  7. Interesting. Wondering if fsg are waiting to see what esl ruling is before setting a valuation and entertaining bids.
  8. ah yes tielemans, forgot him
  9. so this summer we've been linked with Bissouma Donyell Malen Raphinha Renato Sanches Saúl Ñíguez Manuel Locatelli Federico Chiesa Ryan Gravenberch Jarrod Bowen Florian Neuhaus Eduardo Camavinga Dušan Vlahović Houssem Aouar Lautaro Martínez have i missed anyone? who would you go for? who'd you think we'll go for? do you think there'll be a few more names linked in the next fortnight? Or do you think Konate is the sum total of our business?

so is John Henry paying this 15m quid fine like the glazers or is the club being asked to pay it?
  12. Turkey's in full lockdown though.
  13. hopefully a court case, as uefa are rubbish at them, and all the dirty laundry gets aired.
  14. NEW: #LFC & 8 other clubs who signed up for ESL will each have 5% of UEFA withheld for one season in UEFA competitions, clubs will make a donation of €15M to grassroots initiatives. €100M fine if any club attempts to join ESL again. Juve, Real & FCB to face disciplinary action. So when they kick out Juve, Real, Barca - wonder will they astrix the trophy next season or invite 3 other clubs. Imagine the blue fewm if we got invited in despite not qualifying. over to you john.
  15. Pay for lawyers to fight mike ashley's latest court case.
  16. i think the glazers, kronke and henry would rather their clubs finish 2nd or 3place for 2 years on the bounce rather than 1 title win and a year outside the top 4. The books are all that matter to them. 3.5B are we get sold, to anyone. If Gary neville had that kinda money he could buy us. They'd happily sell to him. They don't care.
  17. i'm perfectly fine with a one year ban. Might even make the competition interesting next season.

  20. i thought's that's what they were alluding too at the time. Meanwhile they were dining out with the glazers and co and putting the finishing touches on ESL. Part of my angst with FSG is the constant over promising of 'big spending summers' and under delivering - ending up with sepp and adrien. Splits the fan base, people telling people to wait until the window is over, and in the end it took frantic journo's and the manager slagging them to get kabak in at the 11th hour.
  21. I think we have a poor crop of u23s. And a promising bunch on u18s. But the odds are stacked against them making it but you only need a couple to break through to make a real impact on the team and indeed the finances. We've played alot of our u18s in the u23s this season for various reasons, loans, injuries, curtis promoted to first team. The most noticeable thing for me is the physical difference between u18 and u23 players. It's where players like balagizi look incredible at u18 level but often meet their physical match at u23 level. Billy k has looked really commanding at u18 level but made some mistakes at u23 level. So it'll be a question of whether they keep developing at the same rate or not. Michah richards looked a beast at u18 youth cup level but never really replicated it at premier league level. Sterling/owen/j.cole pint sized but tenacious. Some players physically fill out, or grow a few extra inches, gerrard and mctominany were quite small at youth level but had growth spurts. Houllier was all down for getting u18 players to work on physique but not sure if klopp demands the same, he was quite dismissive when Joe gomez wanted to bulk up.
  22. could also door step john henry, i mean gary neville thinks they are terrible owners doing terrible things
