I agree overall with your point however I do think the general standard of the league is good down to about 15th, where there is a big drop off. And I think if you go back to say 18/19 and 19/20 etc the quality didn't go down as far
So it's a league with fewer outstanding teams but more good teams
A lot will depend on how much his voice matters in the discussion. He'll be part of the conversation but it probably won't be till his contract renewal he gets more of a say
I think it still feels in the balance a fair bit because of the removal of the away goals. If they score first at Anfield it's game on and we'll need the crowd
Konate's agent is doing the right thing hawking his client amongst the best in Europe as he approaches his final year
Thankfully we have Dicky Hughes on the case
Somehow after getting rid of all the free transfers and Fab and Henderson in 23 our wage bill went up again so I don't think they'll have any interest as always in any free transfers. And it's probably why Salah n VVD aren't getting what they deserve
Given how eager those in charge are to talk about the elite level required to play for this Liverpool I don't really see how Cunha fits that
He's a top 10 premier League club type but not us. The problem with saying only the very best can play for you is that you have to pay the very best prices
I think a game at home to the worst team in modern premier league history (certainly the last 15 years) wedged in between two champions League knockout games against PSG is not something where we should go full strength
I wouldn't expect five changes but players like Quansah and Darwin (!) should be starting
