My only real problem is his choices, as a pro he should know that when you're under pressure and needing to keep the ball then simple is the best way to play. I'd have taken him off after an hour yesterday and put Bellamy on to give them something else to think about.

Shocked to see Sami getting some votes, he looks slower than ever since the start of the season, when we were under pressure I thought he looked well shakey. Crouch was great, but again I thought some of our passing was poor. Alonso for one isn't at the standard we have become used to yet. It will be good to see Stevie playing central to give us some real drive at the weekend.

People are so hung up with money and prices of players. I'll let the manager make that call, it wasn't long ago he was getting praised for not paying over the odds for Alves. He obviously doesn't think the same about Pennant. It's really no skin off my nose what we pay for a player if the boss is happy with it.
