Agree. That said though I think if Rodgers had Maldini, Costacurta, Baresi and Tassotti all in their prime we'd still be bad defensively. The conditions at the club are very far from perfect but good managers would still improve us significantly in my view.

Thought is was a marginal one. Sometimes given sometimes not. Loads of these marginal fouls every game. The problem was the shambolic attempt to defend it.
