  1. you trying to make a point or something, like?
  2. Sack Parry and Rafa, sign Anfield Fox. What the hell are you on about. One of the best right backs in the country if not the best with longstanding premiership experience for £5m. Which buys you what exactly? A Diao? A Cheyrou? An young unproven player with no premiership experience? f*** all is what it buys you unless you're very smart and or very lucky. You're f***ing nuts mate.

  13. "..... fans like a goalscorer" Specifically Geordies. Any title with "g-owen" in it "Gerro" as if the red top rags are his mate

  15. what I don't understand is the inconsistency in Cisse's first touch - I actually don't think he has an abysmal first touch at all. if you watch him (including against Luton) he frequently back heels the ball and flicks it on with the side of his foot to other players really well. He seems to struggle more when judging how far to play the ball infront of himself to chase after. He seems todo the difficult things easily and then struggles with the easy things.
  16. Its all about options. All strikers have styles of teams they play better against and differing characteristics. Crouchy was awful tonight because Luton know how to deal with crosses to big men - just look at the monster they brought on at the end (and they called Crouch a freak) - but he excels where teams are less geared up to deal with that sort of play Henry can't play in big pressure games Pongolle gets bullied easily by the likes of Bolton but can score all different kinds of goals, works hard and is one hell of a super sub Cisse excels against slow defenders / high defensive lines but doesn't really have enough in his armoury to deal with other situations and has a tendency to be moody Owen is a confidence player and goes through long droughts followed by consistent scoring Fowler was injury prone

  22. True, but I'd rather cut my b0llocks off than be subjected to Des 'Mr.Smoothy' Lynam again. Or the Tactics Truck. Its like the choice between labour and conservative. Can I take my own life instead please?
