Yep, and that's the reason that the authorities deal with cases in the way they do and the law is skewed in favour of protecting the woman. That doesn't make it fair though, its just the reality of the situation. I was merely trying to state that there are occasions when the obvious is not necessarily the case so before people jump on the 'burn him' bandwagon, perhaps they take a moment to think. Well that entirely depends upon whether she smacked him over the head with a frying pan first doesn't it. Laws to do with abuse in the home are predisposed to protect the female. I have read many cases of violence against husbands where if they retaliate , even with a slap, they end up getting arrested and/or have their children taken away. Some women abuse their husbands for this precise reason. I don't imagine that this was the circumstance here, but its a possibility, and given that noone here has any insight I think its a bit soon to take final judgement, no?

Perhaps someone should look at our possesion statistics. In the champions league apparently we had the lowest possesion statistics of all clubs in the first round which indicates how we play on the counter. If that is replicated in the league then it could quite easily result in the lower passing stats. But some people ready it at face value and then talk out of their a***.

Kewell wasn't anonymous by any means. Certainly in the top 5 Liverpool players although it admittedly wasn't up to the par of some of the last 8 or so games, but then neither was anyone else's performance. He beat players today and most importantly he showed huge commitment in the tackle and the challenge, diving in for things where he could have hurt himself. That was something that Harry Kewell never used to do. Good to see - along as he doesnt bust himself....
