Liverpool is not traditionally a selling club, other than the sale of Torres we don't seem to be making much/any profit in transfer revenue. Won't this be a flaw to the whole moneyball concept? Would this concept work much better at a smaller club that could develop and look to sell on the investments?? For all of Spurs advancements with recent transfers, they also made some big sales e.g. Keane, Berbatov, Carrick etc.
