One of the better players of the last 15 years in terms of the league but a total failure in Europe. Wouldn't figure in any list of greats I would compile.

He'll be off next Summer, and Nedum Onuoha when he gets fit. Onuoha has been earmarked by Rafa according to my Citeh supporting mate.

We didn't go behind very often. I think Rafa broke the long standing record under Houllier of not winning after conceding the first at Fulham away in his first season. One of the statto's on here will be able to come up with the stats I'm sure.

It was in the rag from what I was told at work yesterday. Haven't seen it reported anywhere else so I wouldn't worry to much yet. It will probably go the same way as the complaints from their lip readers about Finnan. -

Agger looked our best for me. Always looked to bring the ball out of defence intelligently. We may be need a big game from him v Haifa.

Gerrard has to play in the middle , Rafa must have a system in mind to get him in there alongside Alonso and Sissoko or he wouldn't have chased Alves and Pennant all summer. With Finnan to come back in and Zenden back on the bench we will be back to winning ways soon enough.

Dropping Beckham is the most positive move McClaren could make and is 2 years overdue. He is increasingly ineffective and will be even more so in 2 years time. And it has won me a 20 quid bet made during the Portugal game. I can't believe the amount of people who think he should be in after all the stick he got, in the build up to, and during the World Cup.
