Not wanting to labour the point but Lewis Hall moved from Chelsea to Newcastle for £30m in the summer. Only played 9 times for Chelsea and a few times for Newcastle on loan. Didn't score a single goal and is older than Doak.

Given the prices for nobodies paid out by Newcastle, forest and Chelsea they need to at least triple that

Player power is huge especially in a place like that at the moment. He is only 24 thought he was older than that been around forever it seems. Spurs will want £100m for him though as easily their best player

He would have been basically pulling his hair out with what's happening but doesn't have any. He is a proper stress head though read an article about him where he doesn't eat anything 24 hours before a game as it makes him feel sick otherwise.

We didn't get caicedo as we didn't pony up the ridiculous wages he got from Chelsea. As Paul has said if we are prepared to pay the serious money like cheating clubs like city and Chelsea the players will come to us. The fact is we don't so that level of player won't ever join us. It's pretty simple really given the way FSG run us.

We didn't get caicedo and didn't get Bellingham et al. Musiala will probably go for £150m+ as Bayern are minted and wirtz will probably end up at city

We were never getting caicedo and we robbed Barcelona to pay for Ali and Virg. We don't tend to splash massive money around for players
