The food is better at lower league grounds too the f8ggotts and minted peas you get from burton Albion got a mention in the times and Kidderminster harriers do an amazing looking cottage pie!! You even get halal chicken balti pies at AFC Telford!! Much better than the crappy pies in sealed plastic bags you get at anfield!!

ah sorry mate misread your post. In relation to these lower league games there are far more david v goliath games that take place that i have witnessed for eg I went to a game in the Blue Square North last season AFC Telford v Solihull Borough. Telford play in a ground that can hold up to 4000 when packed out but Solihull Borough at the time played in a ground that could hold no more than 200. This was reflected by the fact that there were no more than 12 people in the away to support solihull (as mentioned by the bloke on the PA but you could count them yourself pretty easily!). What does make it interesting is that despite the vast differences between the clubs the games are very close and there is very little to seperate them!!

thats certainly true murph re: the amount of nobheads at the non-league is much less than the premiership games i have been to. I would say though that the non-league can be expensive moreso than even league football. For example it costs £13 to stand at a terrace at AFC Telford behind the goal but it costs £11 to stand behind the goal at League 2 Burton Albion? Have noticed the same regarding the comment wayne made regarding Preston (only £7 to get in?!). I went to the last game of the season at Burton last season involving Grimsby Town which resulted in Grimsby being relegated to the Blue Square - there was trouble after the game i had not seen in many a year!!

Do any of you follow any non league or lower league football teams at all? I personally have started to follow my local club Burton Albion more and have also been to a couple of fleetwood town and AFC Telford games due to lads at work. I must say I was surprised with the quality of the football and it helps blow some of the cobwebs away with the troubles we are experiencing at anfield. I think I read murph saying he followed fleetwood but does anyone else follow any such sides and what do you think of your experience of it?
