    There was a period in the game we were properly rattled and couldn't string two passes together. Overall Jota was pretty terrible didn't win a single header when hit long and gave it away every single time. Deffo need a top no 9 in the summer.

    They are amazing at home but didn't they lose 4 games away from home in the group stage? I'm sure Arsenal beat them comfortably at the Emirates in the group stage

    Arteta has turned them into a team of grocks. Could have bought a forward player in the summer but instead bought a centreback to play left back (copying city?) another DM (maybe as internally they feared one of their DMs was going to get done by the cops) and sterling on loan.

    Remember the leaks they peddled out about all the dough going on bonuses to the players? Can't see them throwing money around. They will probably only spend what comes in from sales hence why I think Elliot is toast due to the pure profit he will bring in for PSR due to being homegrown.

    Some of the passages of play this team go through during a game are fascinating. Rafa alluded to it. We slow it down at times, press more during certain phases or sit back with the low block but the transition from defence to attack is lightening quick. Slot is just an incredible tactician - he hasn't been bested hardly ever this season on the tactical front. He has created a machine.

    Don't ask me why but I went outside the ground that day with some mates. The result wasn't great but was worth it

    How many times did a Newcastle player leave something on one of ours after a tackle? He did nothing about it all game and ended up with Mac getting studs on his thigh

    Same. In the grand scheme of things a point last night wasn't a disaster. Hopefully we can get it together against city and get the win

    They have injuries but a lot of them were back last night. They've also got 5 new players in Jan which meant they had more legs than us near the end. Dunno what happens with elliot as clear he isn't rated by slot.
