Why aren’t the Premier League insisting that all audio is broadcast, as well as a detailed description of each VAR decision-making proces?. They are the customers, I don’t know why they are quiet on this.

I was dancing around the kitchen in my boxies this morning, singing the Jota song at half time. My missus commented that I was putting so much enthusiasm into it that he was bound to score. I await a share of his scoring bonus in the post. -

Also easy to see why people may fear that they are corruptible. For all the money in the game, they aren’t getting a lot of it.

Maybe they can show us their “process” as it is now, before they “improve” it. Because that tape suggests they have no set unambiguous language that they use to communicate their decisions. -

We are looking very good at the moment. The new signings have started well - they already feel like Liverpool players to me - and the rest of the squad seem to be responding really well. It’ll be interesting to see where Jurgen wants us to strengthen in the next window.

Haven’t they just done that? They sold off part of their stock and, instead of buying a yacht with the proceeds, they are using the investment to pay off those sort of debts. I prefer to look for the positives nowadays so I’m reading this as a decent investment to reduce infrastructure debt, so that should be outside of FFP, freeing up other revenue for salaries and transfers. In addition, these people are meant to be bringing further expertise in generating revenue.

I can’t watch a live Liverpool game in the same way I’d watch it back, or watch other games. I’m full of over-reactions and it’s why I mostly stay out of the match thread. Over criticism during the game is fine by me - it’s the product of an emotional investment. I get mildly annoyed when I see the same over reactions happening once people should have had time to collect their thoughts, though.

I think there are enough teams with the ambition and talent to put a dent in City’s defence of the league, that we could have a better chance than the seasons where we were in a two horse race with them. I can’t see this being a 100 point season for anyone.

12.30 kick-offs mean that I get to watch the game at half nine on a Saturday night, so I’m all for them. We just need to get better at winning them all so I don’t feel so selfish. -

Yeah, but you can punish them. They are buying the club knowing that a guilty verdict is possible so they should factor any potential fine into the price.
