Cissé didn't have the best of angles to place the ball into the corner. I certainly wouldn't blame him for his effort, but as I anticipated, a lot of people on here will do just that.

They're really pressing us in central midfield, always 2-3 Blackburn players on them when Xabi or Momo get the ball. Unsurprisingly the Nando and Robbie partnership looks lost for pace. A decent call for a peno there, as Nando was wrestled down. Momo booked.

Rafa was asked about Raul, and he just said: "He's a good player, of course he is and everyone knows that (almost bursting into laughter). But I don't want to talk about players." Certainly didn't sound like his cover was about to be blown. I'd actually be surprised if Rafa decided to keep Robbie... but then I was more than surprised when I heard we had signed him in the first place.
