He isn't the biggets talent in the world by any means (Henry, Ronaldinho etc.), but he's got the potential to be a top class striker alright. I'd be overjoyed to have him here as an alternative to Crouch (he would become 1st choice in 2 weeks if he kept his ego in control). He's got the strenght, the pace, the skill and vision to be a huge success in any top league, so why not here? Not sure what you have been watching Leo, but Zlatan really is a great talent who has had one disappointing season including the World Cup. At the request of Makaveli: Zlatan P.S. Love the music

I stand to win mine at the moment. There are however 2 scenarios how I'd only come second/third. Scenario 1: France to win the world cup + Henry to be top scorer Scenario 2: France to win the world cup + the top scorer (whoever that will be) to score exactly 7 goals It seems I'm fairly safe at the moment with Klose leading the charts with 5 goals and Henry having 3. I could cover my winnings by betting on a France/Henry combo at 27/1 on Betfair, but... I'd then have to kill myself if Klose scored 2 in the 3rd place match and France beat Italy on Sunday... Decisions time.

Forza Azzurri! Italy have convinced me of their quality in this World Cup. The likes of Pirlo, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Buffon, Gattuso and Grosso have really shown themselves to be among the absolute best in their positions. Can't help but hope they turn over the French, who are completely dependent on Zizou (what a class act) going forwards. I really haven't been impressed with France. Everyone knows their results in the group stage were average (draws with Switzerland and Korea + a 2-0 win against Togo). After that, they turned Spain over with a defensive minded display (not saying it wasn't a good performance) and beat Brazil and Portugal through a goal from set-pieces and again defended for the rest of the match. I reckon Italy will still have to raise their game in order to get through the Makelele-Vieira axis. Really hope they do.

Not sure I agree with that although their role in any teams' attacking play seems to have grown lately.

They gave MoM to Pirlo, who was simply awesome. Rather harsh on Cannavaro though, who couldn't have done much more if anything at all.

Funny thing with Peter is that he's underrated by the majority and overrated by the Liverpool fans. In my humble opinion he's a good forward, but not a so-called number one striker for a top club (as he bascially was fo us last season).
