Indeed. Every season we get these threads with many believing we're gonna buy a whole host of top quality players. Sadly it never happens.

Good luck to him, it just didn't work out. Rafa certainly doesn't hesitate to get rid of players that aren't up to stratch even those he signed.

Can see what you're saying but I think you're doing him a disservice saying he'd do as a cheap squad player. I think he has stood out at Brum anytime I've seen them - the one player they have with true quality. Put him in our side and I think you would see marked improvement as he'd be surrounded by better players. It obviously didn't work out for him at Arsenal but I think he has matured since then and he's ready for another crack with a big club.

He's been excellent this season but you can maybe undertand some people being wary considering how Dudek and his predecessor turned out. If he plays aswell next season I'm sure all doubts will be dispelled.
