  1. 45% each team, 10% to the FA You could see how much that meant to the locals, but I hate the pitch invasions. I suppose they are harmless enough, but still don't like them. Replay best result for Shrewsbury, I'm not signed up for the fa cup scheme this year, so I'll have to go in the away end. Will be weird
  2. Come on Salop , you can smash these redmem. Oh hang on, wrong forum.... Come on redmem, you can smash these inbred sheep botherers. Salop will play the usual 5 at the back, with three decent centre halves Limited prowess going forward, Shrewsbury lost their most potent attacking threat in Ryan Giles who has just returned to wolves from his loan spell. Shaun Whalley is the danger man, a fellow red, who'll who give Larouci, if he plays a good run. Shrewsbury will keep it tight and they'll be playing for a draw. 2-0 to the reds

  4. It's the old name for Shropshire, although I don't think it was ever used officially. It originated in the dim and distant past, but still widely used locally, particularly at the game
  5. Spot on, it was Bob Wardle, retired with an eye injury. Both teams played a testimonial for him back at some point in the 80's. He was to be Clem's backup
  6. Close! It was the same deal, Oggie went from Liverpool to Shrewsbury but someone went the other way as part of the deal
  7. Nice try, he was born here but never played for Shrewsbury
  8. He had a mare that game Trivia question for you all, no googling, who is the only player to sign for Liverpool from Shrewsbury? Don't think he played a game though
  9. Haha, f***ing hell, that was great. Who doesn't love a last minute winner? Nice goal too. Shrewsbury are so small time though, massive pitch invasion for a cup win against a championship side!
  10. Nil nil half time, all to play for..
  11. It's alright. I love Bristol City too. Loved them since the halcyon days of Gerry Gow...
  12. Haha, this has gone down well If I'd have known aged 5 that someone would invent the internet and I'd invoke it's ire I may have taken a different approach. Looking forward to getting my half and half scarf should Shrewsbury get through... Seriously though, Liverpool are my team, Shrewsbury is Saturday hobby and I take the kids (£50 a season ticket for my daughter and free for my lad) still manage to get to 20 or so reds game a year, so all good. It's all moot though, Shrewsbury are s***e and won't beat Bristol
  13. That's a tough one, managed to support both clubs since I was 5 as their worlds have hardly collided. Last time was 1996, I remember Collymore scored and the game was a week after Paisley died. My heart says Liverpool, but a Win for Shrewsbury would mean so much for the club. Got to get past Bristol City first
  14. Shrewsbury should have won at the weekend, Bristol were crap. They were doing well but are on the slide now, the locals weren't happy
  15. Oh and Bristol City are rubbish, lost 3 of the last 4 at home
  16. I'm a Shrewsbury STH as my local team, we've got a fairly solid defence. Not much going on upfront. At least I'll get a ticket, wrong end though..
  17. You're gonna be boss, looking forwatd to seeing you in a red shirt

  21. They should just do a ballot, register for the ganes you want and then draw it out of a hat. Saves everyone wasting hours online.
  22. Alot of L1 and L2 fans have boycotted this trophy as they've got the hump about Premier League teams taking over 'their' tournament. Most games are played in front of two men and a dog
  23. Couldn't get in the Kop for European Cup, only got Upper Main Stand, 5 rows from the back
  24. It's a lovely little club, the football is mostly s***e, but the players are great with the kids and the kids season tickets are free. The Gay Meadow is sadly no more.
  25. I saw that, it's bonkers! I'm a Shrewsbury season ticket holder, we're a good club for young loanees but not one for Brewster.
