As I posted earlier in the general the new president Martín has already come out and said he's ready to make decisions, starting with the signing of Fabregas of Arsenal. The manager will never be in charge of a club like that, while the president is playing Chmpionship manager.

There was a quote on the front page of Yahoo.es today with a quote from the new president "We want Fabregas" WHY DON'T YOU ASK YOUR MANAGER WHO HE WANTS AND LET HIM RUN THE TEAM?!?!??!?! Nothing's changed obviously and we were worried about them turning Rafa's head?????

I haven't seen the Catalan 'national' team entering any football tournaments and Cataluñia has no official recognition on an international level. They're Spanish even if they don't like it.

I can't honestly see Rafa getting rid of Crouch. He's ineffective at the moment but I would be amazed if he was moved out.

No doubt about it in my mind. Crouch & Cisse as impact subs for height and pace.

Rather than Lumparse & Terry, it's Essien & Makelele that run that team. Unfortunately they are a superb pairing. Lampard justs tarts around and flukes the odd goal.

I don't think Reina would need any help against those girls to be honest. And as far hard man Terry - Cisse scared the pants off him at Anfield when there was no ref for him to hide behind.

I noticed Kewell and Riise were throwing him around with ease. Despite that his contribution was good, but he could definitely beef up a bit.

A typical moment was a Fowler run down the left channel, the defender followed and Kewell was able to continue his run right up to the edge of the box in the empty space created by Robbie. It will be interesting to see what level of fitness Fowler can achieve now that he is fully motivated.

Not actually joking .....this has put the biggest grin on my face since Istanbul. It's a dream move for everyone - even better hearing Rafa talk about it so positively. Now if only Fyds would cheer up the day will be complete.

All this talk of Chelsea being our new main rivals- b******s. Sunday only served to totally rekindle my utter loathing for all things manc. I heard a kid gloating about the win on his way into school yesterday. He's in detention today. The given reason was untidy uniform but its because he's a manc. little t***. -

I assume he'd be allowed to leave on a free. But by the looks of him I doubt he's even get through a training session in one piece, never mind a match. Our players look on a different planet fitness-wise. Still, bring it on!

Violent bitter lot those bluenoses! An old guy kept going off at me last night out here in a well-known reds bar - all because I cheered ugly Neville's sending off and was loudly celebrating their defeat. After that he was in my face after every foul by a reds player "send him off then, send him off Poll" lol Bitter, bitter fans and old guys up for a fight. What a pitiful lot.

LMFAO listening to it again! I'll do a transcript of the Smicer & Alonso goals one day when there's nothing else to do. Very funny What I would love is the spanish commentary from the penalty shootout, although its possible that Moro went down pitchside for them. Anyone ever heard it or know who actually recorded the spanish comms?
