It seems unlikely that he will recover fully from these problems and I can't see Rafa hanging on to him in those circumstances. Sad to see him in that state though. Poor lad.

The thing is it doesn't matter how he scored them. He's scored more than everyone else bar Gerrard. Maybe others should try closing their eyes and blasting it cos it certainly works for him. He's a great impact sub and I'd like him to get another year. Can't see it happening though.

If you were going to be in Malaga you could have watched it with me in a small but loyal Reds bar in Benalmadena..... I wouldn't be too cocky about watching it. The beeb has the FA cup which means you can't watch it on Canal Plus (they only have the league games) You need a brit bar with Sky or hope the spanish terrestrial channels decide to 'buy' the final and show it. I have absolutely no idea about Jerez, but if you can't find a bar with Sky I'll say nice things about Chelsea!!!!

It's a strange one. There maybe a little resentment from the portuguese - all seems friendly on the outside, but there's a little bitterness below the surface. The portuguese people I know claim that the spanish think they're superior..... The language, climate and culture is very similar, but although they share the same peninsula, it does seem as though Portugal isn't really there. This comes from someone living failry close to Portugal. In my experience Spain kind of ignores Portugal. This has nothing to do with Mourinho of course who's just a 'gilipollas'.

I thought it was unusual that 4-5-1 that won us the European cup has been ditched in favour of a 4-4-2. (in Europe) 4-4-2 works in the premiership but I thought we would revert back to the undeniably successful 4-5-1 for this type of game. BIG holes in the middle.
