What is with the denial from some of you people???? Macca is not my favourite person or player - he comes across as a bit of an a*** actually. That said he was the best player we had in the 90's. The player all the other clubs feared. He was a player who won many games for us. Calling him crap and WORSE THAN GIGGS is utter crap, worthy of the bitters. He did very well at Madrid and proved his class. Owen, Macca.....so if we don't boot them out on our terms they're suddenly crap????? absolute rubbish from posters who should know better

He is very quick though. I thought chimbonda was a match for him until the beginning of the 2nd half when he flew past him with ease. He seems to hold back a bit. He's also very, very good in the air. similar to Kewell in that respect. There was a lovely through ball for Bellamy and his corners are possibly better than anyone else's. I rate the lad a lot.

I would have Pleat's commentary any day over that fool on 'Santana' or whatever they're called the other day. What a goon he was.

The team were superb. Great 2nd half performance. Plenty of geniuses on here who criticise players who either got a great ovation going off or MOTM award from sky......after we won 3-0!!! Very happy with today!

Kewell wouldnt be in that list for me. Paul Stewart wasnt cheap and he was godawful

Got to be a good thing as you were one of the few over there worth listening to!

That blog has done its job though. I have read and indeed listened to things posted there that I wouldn't otherwise have found out about. Things people should be aware of too IMO.

I don't think he is rough around the edges. If he is, what about the rest of them out there as he was clearly the best player on show.
