When Spurs did something similiar after Bale they at least managed to get Eriksen. I think Lamela is a couple of years older than Originally but he has settled into an important squad player for them. They signed Paulinho, Chadli, Soldado, Eriksen, Capoue and the band Chvrches It is really hard to replace your best player with squad players
