Agree about Crouch. They are a fairly small team and Valdes isn't the most convincing keeper. I reckon we should lob in the crosses with Crouchy in the middle.

He does have previous with these kind of comments. As far as I know he made similar comments during the summer and appologised and made a charitable donation.

We're 33-1 outright now with Betfred and Premier bet. Worth a few quid each way. If we get past Barca we'll have beaten the second best team in the competition, after us.

Didn't Van Nistelroy have some record for hitting the bottom left hand corner every time but the keeper almost never saved it? Arsenal match is the only one that I can remember where he didn't score.

That was my first ever game at Anfield. He was superb that day. They couldn't cope with him at all. I thought that he would go from strength to strength after that. Glad to see him doing well at Valencia now.

Cassano is a very talented player but has the mentality of a 10 year old. He would be a disasterous signing for newcastle, much worse than Luque.

I tend to go along with that research. Anti-english sentiment is quite commen in rural Ireland, where I'm from. But the same people who possess these attitudes make exceptions for English people that they actually know. Always struck me as hypocritical and dim. Besides all that I find it hard to believe that John Terry is a racist.

I remember that he was interviewed about "White Angels" on the off the ball show newstalk 106FM when it was published. It was at the height of the galactico era and he was saying that they had reinvented the football club model. We can see now how wrong he was. On a side note, I once gave his book title to someone to act out in a game of charades.
