There is no way Ronaldo doesn't start, unless he is injured. Far too much of a gamble for Solskjaer politically. He would get destroyed by fans, press etc if they lost and he didn't start.
He was brilliant for Celtic for a while and then totally sacked it off for the last season or so as he was obviously angling for a move. It was actually appalling how bad/disinterested he was and it definitely affected his price tag.
