  2. Congratulations you've just reduced the chances of someone on here helping you get a ticket for the match exponentially. Nice work for one post. Most of the clubs that have been run by clowns like our two are in administration or in recovery from it. The only succesful debt run organisation is Man Utd and their turnover is enormous and sustains the debt model. To get us as close as he did under those constraints was a monumental achievement. Yes he made dodgy purchases, as does every manager in the league. The difference for Rafa was he couldn't afford mistakes like Aquilani and Keane. Other managers waste £30m and move onwards and upwards. In the end Rafa was selling to buy, you don't win that way in the long term, you only need to look at what is happening at the Emirates for proof of that. The clowns were taking £30m every season out of Rafa's transfer pot. That's a Torres a season. How can you remain competitive in that situation?

  4. Haha review of his 'app' This app works in short spells then doesn't perform at all for ages. It used to be really quick but has slowed down over time. Every now and then it surprises you and really delivers, but then disappears into mediocrity. A hazlenut in every bar now In hindsight Sven has been the best England manager in decades. Ok we lost to 10 men of Brazil it but it was a side that romped home. Every tournament that we were found wanting under Sven we lost to very good sides. And he f***ing hammered the Germans in their own backyard, which until 2010 still rankled. Redknapp should be the next England manager because he is an outstanding English candidate. It's been a while since we had one of them.
  5. Fair play to Morgan then, I fully expected him to appoint Fat head.

  12. A mate in work said he read in a tabloid that Adidas were withdrawing their shirt sponsorship because of this. I put him straight, you know, that we have signed one of the biggest shirt deals in the history of football and as such we are giving Adidas the elbow but it just shows they will spin it with any angle their shell likes can manage.

  14. Arsenal and Chelsea have massive European games coming up that will take their eye off the league. They both have to come to Anfield. These two factors in themselves keep me interested. Long long way to go yet.
  15. It's almost like a witchhunt has been started against a player because he rubbed someone up the wrong way ...... Incredible the power that man has over the game in this country.
  16. Mental this, Arsenal lost away at Swansea and Chelsea limp past Sunderland and 4th is over. Long way to go yet.
  17. He's a weasly little c*** this fella and no mistake. Why would an Arsenal fan write a book lauding Chelsea's captain? Makes less sense than his 'I only wrote one book argument' especially when they are both the same book !!!
  18. I'd say it's time for progessive fans to ask 'Who the f*** is Piara Power to tell us how to behave?'
  19. Yes, but you referenced that c*** and being forethcoming. We WANT to tell our side. That makes a massive difference.
  20. Very true. But imagine if you had a situation where you put your side of a story across only to find in the official report that what you had actually said had not been properly represented and stuff you had said had been omitted leaving other stuff you said appear to have a different meaning because it was taken out of context. Imagine then the opportunity to appear live in front of television cameras and give your full uinedited version of events. That would be a good thing would it not?
  21. and if the FA Cup doesn't have romance it's got f*** all, it becomes the Rumbelows cup in a heartbeat. It was a magical cup moment and it will get shown for the next 20yrs because that's what they do with the FA Cup. For the record I still wanted Leeds to win despite enjoying the Henry goal. They are not mutually exclusive.
  22. The city of the Beatles, what a f***ing great article
  23. A chance to put our side of the case across to an independant body and to have it heard without being edited?
  24. On this subject my family are all Wolves fans and my cousin, who I thought would just be hammering Suarez, thinks he's been had off. No evidence, one man's word etc All they could say is 'So what about Terry'. It's such a shame that Suarez innocently admitted using any word. If he'd said nothing they wouldn't have pinned it on him. Honesty the best policy .... not likely.
  25. The FA Cup is all about special moments that's why this is up there. Arsenal's greatest ever player comes back and scores a trademark goal after 8 mins on the pitch. It's what the FA Cup is all about, the script writers dream. Do we remember the FA Cup finals where the better team won playing outstanding football ? No, the most magical moments are Owen's 2 v Arsenal or (in others eyes) brave Wimbledon in 88. It's a sentimental moment for a sentimental competition i.e. a perfect match. You have too much anger in your bones to appreciate that ;-)
