    I'd be up for a £50 punt on this. I've got a seasie that I share with a mate but we don't get to the cup games. Guaranteed semi and final tickets would be nice and I have to say the night out with Molby seems intriguing, the man behind the online persona. Hopefully there wont be any hired goons though

    Really, Torres just f***ing whacked it from a really really acute angle. It had to go nearpost as that was the only part of the goal he could get the ball to from there. The ball was past Pepe before he could move.

    f***ing hell, just looked him up on wiki, he scored 10 goals in the 1997-8 season, 5 league goals. He was 19 then. Indeed complete pants, hell of a goalscoring record.

    I see so we are judging him on his 11 years of youth team football.

    He has a shot on him, that much is clear, he also can master a composed placed finish in that he has done it both times he scored. Based on that and the fact he makes terrific forward runs I think with confidence and experience he has a decent amount of goals in him from centre midfield. Sometimes the stats don't tell you enough.

    Hew's a f***ing player alright, very very impressed with the way he set the tempo of the midfeld in the first half. He's 20 FFS.

    We are talking about 21 year old Jordan Henderson here aren't we. How many goals was Lampard banging in age 21? What years of football? 1, 1.5 maybe?

    Lot of sense in this, I'm sure he was forced out, absolutely 100% positive that he didn't really want to come here. Getting that level of vitriol when he went 'home' would definitely focus the 'f*** you' factor.

    To be fair that is not the best angle to judge. My instinct was goal but I am quite happy that a linesman who was not sure said so and didn't award a goal. What is ridiculous is the lack of consistency between what is given and what isn't. That 'guess' in the semi cost us in the final.

    Whether it's fair or not it's true and happened in many games. He was only 21 though and playing with Gerrard and Alonso, which is why I use it as an example to defend Henderson.
