Hope so, the maximum sentence is £2500 though so even if he is found guilty of using racist language it wont make a lot of difference to him. The fact that he would officially would be a racist rather than just suspecting it would be nice though and I'm sure all the fans of opposing teams would remind him of that although we should just carry on singing about his Ma.

It's not an insult, he is black, she is white, it is a legitimate difference between them. It's not always this black (haha) and white but you can reference the word without it being racist. HTH Some comedy show did a great skit of two mates talking about a mutual black friend but neither daring to reference his colour to identify him.

I agree with this, we don't have a Lucas at the moment, we need one, hopefully the one we did have comes back as good but there is no guarantee. It is an absolute priority to get a player of real quality in that position.

With Gerrard and Lucas as your two why not? Swap Carroll for Henderson if you want 4-5-1 I'd give Aquilani a go ahead of both, neither is that likely. not convinced 'young' Joe Cole has the stamina for the Premier League, not convinced Aquilani has the stomach for it.

If we can bring in 2 players who are better than the current encumbent in that line-up (thinking 2 of Downing, Bellamy and Carrol specifically) and 2 more just below that standard I reckon we could have a cracking season.

They made a decision to sign Commolli and give the job to Kenny and it didn't work out but that doesn't mean it was the wrong thing at the time, doesn't mean it was right either it was just a thing that they did that they have now rectified.
