We are only looking backwards when trying to determine what level we should expect from Brendan this season. I expected a top 4 challenge before the transfer window fiasco. With Suarez in the form he is and minimal injuries we should be much higher than we are. How can we play so well against City, pressing, harrying and playing 200mph football to the stuff of today. Where are we going? What style is Brendan after, does he know? Is the problem that the pegs he has dont fit the holes? So many questions, such poor results. Rafa got sacked for 7th, Hodgson was in the relegation zone, Kenny got binned for 8th. Do we keep Rodgers whereever we finish or is there a position that isn't acceptable?

The squad hasn't been stretched though, bar Lucas he has had his strongest XI pretty much available. I just think that Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Downing Allen Henderson Stirling Gerrard Suarez as a straight 4-4-2 would have you bouncing around the top 6 edges. I'm not impressed with the form, we had a very tough opening set of fixtures and against Man City we were immense. Where has that pressing game gone? Why do we look so open to the counter attack?

I disagree with this Nobody knew his time was up. Plenty felt it was but Kenny disagreed. Who do you think knows best? I don't know if Kenny would have turned it around, what I do know is nobody knows that he wouldn't. FSG made a choice and it doesn't look a great one at the moment.

Not wanting this to Kenny mad but at one point we averaged over 2pts a game. I know it went s***, but it went very good at one point and that was before the bulk of the spending. I don't know what went wrong but in the first 3 months I could see what was going right. 3 months of footy in under Bren and there are as many questions as answers and he really shouldn't be coming out with s*** about when it will be his team. It's not appropriate. Massively disappointing that.

Who thought Chelsea would win the CL when he took over, hands up ????????? That was the only way he got the job, maybe Rafa didn't think the odds were that great. Maybe Rafa thought managing a club for two months was beneath him, maybe he thought Harry was off to England and he'd get the Spurs job. f*** knows.

Did you want Kenny to be a success at Blackburn? My reasons, though why I should justify myself to you is beyond me. It's a short term contract, Rafa's success wont impact on us because I don't think we have a very good team at the moment and I think Chelsea are far superior and thought this before Rafa took over. We will struggle to get 4th, if it isn't Chelsea 3rd it will be someone else who are better than us (Spurs, Arsenal arguably Newcastle). So a strong Chelsea will benefit Liverpool as they will take points of the teams we are actually competing with. So by doing well it will be good for Rafa AND good for us. I can't see him mismanaging them so badly that they finish below us, if that were an option, I'd take it, but it isn't so I wish him well.

Because he gave me the best night of my life (Phnaar) and I will always be indebted to him for that. Because he has been treated appallingly in this country and I want him to prove to everyone else beyond any doubt that he is indeed a great great manager. Because, if he wins the league United wont. Because I love him. You chose which one.
