I think Ant is bang on with this. Babel has so much raw talent it is unreal. It's the rest of it he has found tough, tactics, teamwork, application etc.

I don't understand why they are sticking this on Liverpool, surely we get 35% of any sale, so if they get 3.4m off us they would be getting 3.4m off the next club. To up it because of the sell on clause is c***ishness of the highest order. Mind you he is an Oyston so it's almost expected. Shame you aren't running the club then. Not a pisstake, that is exactly the thinking that is missing at the moment.

It is that, penalties are dished out for handballs that sometimes aren't even the fault of the player. 'He had his hands up' 'Yeah but someone has whacked a ball at his face at 60 miles an hour' Short of doing a Samir Nasri what do we expect player to do.

Cisse was younger more prolific and Drogba was 25 and clearly his best days were behind him. Ahhhh, happy times.

Problem with that is, you are closing a guy down to block a shot so you tuck your hands behind your back, he dummies and you are f***ed. It's ok to insist on it in a wall but in open play it wont work. A lot of these arms out incidents are balance, whenever you see a defender flap at a ball above his head watch for a sly nudge from the attacker as he is jumping.

The problem is the rewards are so great for cheating the official. Get one handball in the box that wasn't and you are a penalty up on honesty.

Exactly, every single time the ball goes out of play one side or the other tries to cheat to get the decision there way. I don't expect honesty I expect competent officials. I thought Luis actually showed good grace, he knew what he had done and booted the ball in frustration, not his fault the goal stood.

Anything at that s***hole is a bonus. You don't get refereeing decisions and they are a good side. Dispatching QPR was a better indicator of where we are at. That was a banana skin in waiting and Chelsea got it not us. Villa aside we have shown real progress in the last month, but, we have had a good run of fixtures. The glass ceiling point is very interesting, could there be a point where this style of play become ineffective against the better sides?
