Did you value the 4-1 defeat of Chelsea the week after the cup final under Kenny. I'm not belittling the performance, it was a great performance, against a team who didn't turn up. I was responding to people saying trite stuff like "Can we keep him now" as if yesterday would have any bearing on any sane persons opinion of Rodgers or his system.

Did we play the first choice Swansea side? Are they at Wembley next weekend? It's not agendas, it's looking at facts and not lurching in one direction or the other. I am still unconvinced by Rodgers and anyone whose opinion changed based on the weekend is an idiot.

The point would be that, although the season fell away spectacularly we had 34 pts from 19 games at one point, we got to two cup finals and won one. Unfortunately for us the person who wasn't happy with Kenny moving upstairs was Kenny. I can't believe they didn't just go, ok, Kenny, you don't want it, that's fine you carry on but we need to see real improvement on the pitch or we are going to wind up having this conversation again in 12 months time.

Rafa doesn't need it. Let him spend what the club earns, let him keep the money from sales for purchases. He'd turn us round under those conditions. FSG wouldn't need to contribute a bean.

I'm not sure that is strictly true. Lots of people were defending the form before West Brom. We have had a poor run of results since November, some in December were claiming that 8 games without defeat was a sign of progress. Plenty of people claiming that it isn't f***ing s*** right up until Monday night. If you gave Rafa 30 mins with John Henry to talk about football, he would be desperate for a manager like him, if not him. If LVG asked for the manager's job when approached about the DOF then shooting Ayre out of a cannon is the least he deserves.

To be fair, this would be true unless we got one of about 3 people to manage the club. He was there, available, desperate for the job and the stand out candidate. I will always scratch my head over that one. We were in the hunt for the CL places and in both cup competitions. Yes, questions have to be asked, player attitude has to be question but you don't get rid of Kenny lightly. I still believe that Kenny as DOF was FSG's plan A with Martinez or Rodgers. He told them to stick it, Rodgers told them to stick their DOF and they didn't have a plan B.

Yeah, but in that time we sold £125m worth of players who were far better than their replacements (for us). The problem is partly the poor signings but partly the fact that we are selling our best players. We didn't used to do that.

Right now I'd take ANY title winning manager ANY. This is just not working and it could get a whole lot worse before it gets better. I only saw the second half and thought, for us, we played ok, could have scored a couple, then we conceded a goal and went to complete s*** for 10 mins and conceded a second. Where is the mental toughness, where is the desire?

You could always see deep down that there was a player struggling to get out. My problem with Lucas was that he hid and that he wasn't very good defensively. As a central midfielder that doesn't really do it for me. Only player whose name I ever got put on the back of my shirt. f***ing loved Harry, for 3 months it was a match made in heaven.

For me 4th was on until we failed to hold on against Arsenal, now 6th is on if we can beat Everton It's just about managing expectations.

We play them at Anfield, we should be looking at that as closing the gap by 3. Now it's 3 behind with 11 to go. It's almost in our own hands.

Definitely, until more teams start doing that, UEFA wont do anything about it. Yep, Gerrard talks to the ref, gestures to the team and takes the lot of them off.
