The decision to hire Rodgers was wrong, because the decision to sack Kenny was wrong, IMO, so the two have to be separated. The decision to hire Rodgers was questionable based on his lack of experience, last season showed nothing that didn't validate that position. I have never said that Rodgers cannot be successful here, I think it is less likely that he will because he doesn't have the experience, therefore it will be more luck than judgement on FSG's part if he is successful. I don't think that is inconsistent.
