  1. i think it will be a very close finish... or an extremely tight one come May... there's going to be a blip for the Mancs despite their freakish and outstanding form currently... we can only get better (i hope)
  2. who needs Gareth Barry when we have Fab??
  3. Siang

    Keane

if RP wants to do so, it may back-fire as RB may still win the double and prove that he was right all along..
  4. wont be pissed!!! Mr. Ferguson won't be sharing the same perch as us
  5. Feb Mar April May P16 W15 D1 L0 Pts 46 We are there ...
  6. i m happy that we are actually challenging for the top spot in Jan rather than 4th spot
  7. well, since you are this "luck" topic, i love to see how long can the Mancs go on winning 1-0 games with last minute winners!!! It's Jan only, doubt they can go on like that... there's bound to be a downturn somewhere...
  8. / nope...for me football started in 1977 well, as far as i know, i can't recall us being in 1st position in Jan for the pas 5-6 seasons!!! i stand to be corrected!!
  9. I posted this question on TLW forum and was labelled a "winding up merchant"!!! Thing is, we were never in this position (i.e. 1st place in Jan) before thus, it's more of a question whether we can handle Sir Fudgie's mind games and our players have the mentality to grind it out!!! Yes yes yes, we came from behind numerous times early this season but have we finally lucked out? I don't know... it's more of a theoretical question than a winding up post
  10. Anyone on this forum playing the tournament this weekend? it's actually an excuse to binge drink than to play football
  11. u based in BKK or its outskirts? i m usually in BKK / Rayong every month for business trips
  12. i am optimistic , but sometimes its the way the young 'uns talks ... Maybe it's the freaking generation gap!!!
  13. i believe that's a good reminder to keep the minority of rose tinted fans in check!! Already i have young LFC fans in Malaysia and Singapore, claiming we will win it this season and this pisses me off as it's only freaking Oct and not May!!! That said, we have far better team (in terms of both personnel and tactics as well as an excellent manager) and i THINK we will get on another run of 9-10 games unbeaten.. then let's see how the tables stack up at Christmas time
  14. and our season went t*ts up from there on! Same scenario now, different team with a stronger mentality. The OG spurred Spurs on, we weren't playing too badly either, 2 shots hit the post summed up the evening for me anyway (plus, i was having my pints in a pub in S'pore with the name of S.O.D.S Pubs; S.O.D.S. stands for the owners name, Shamus O'Donells! Lovely fella BTW..) I just want to see what's our response will be like this Tuesday night against Athletico Madrid and WBA this weekend as it would REALLY shape the season! What do u all think...
  15. yr Chargers do require more flavours of the month at the rate they are going this season!!
  16. how can this last? we can't keep coming back all the time when it's us who digged our own holes / graves . . i.e. silly / soft goals via defensive errors No doubt it's good the team's character But Chelsea's a different proposition entirely Beat them or hold them, then it's another step towards maintaining our challenge of the title
  17. lovely place it is... love the kebabs, fish n chips... a bitch to get there by bus, the ferry's fine if you are not drunk and reeking with the smell of alcohol when you board the ferry!!! plus, with the up n down of the ferry, one can get a quick vomit over the railings!!!
  18. why's everything at Manly????
  19. Absolutely loved the game when i was studying Down Under!!!! Go Crows!!!
  20. too early to say so but good things are happening despite us playing crap

  23. Gerrard was disappointed at the final whistle... TV showed him walking off with his head shaking left right as if saying "what the fug! we can't even score against these b******s!!"
  24. I for one expected a draw or a narrow and difficult 1-0 win to us, not a thrashing to be dished out.. The whole world knows that Stoke will have the numbers in defence, so credit to them that they held out and even had a few pops at Reina. Rightly so, most are disappointed, but i take this result given that we are still playing dis-jointedly since the season started. Everton, however could feel the backlash though, hopefully!
