Good morning people. I don't think you should be so quick to dismiss Sajid, as I have just heard something that backs up part of his claims. Now I am in no way in the know or connected. However a fellow LFC fan at work knows someone that works at the club. (It's not a high up position but his few early transfer calls including that of Fowler have apparently been spot on so I have no reason to disbelieve this despite a dubious figure being mentioned. OK, in relation to contact with A. Madrid the player concerned is indeed Torres and we have a bid ready to go, however this is the bit I am sceptical over, and would very much rely on some sort of gentleman's aggrement between the clubs. (This would refer back to what Sajid said about us not getting into a bidding war for that youngster.) This bid is for 'only' £20m. Even if a £20m fee has been gentlemanly aggred upon that's not to say we will sign him. It would still be a case of the player choosing where to go, but with our current Spanish contingent and our high stock in Spain who knows! I realise some of you may choose to dismiss my post as well seeing as I rarely post, however I have been coming to this site a long time and I hope that some of the people on here than know me will back me up as not being a wind up merchant!

It was a dive in my opinion and I didn't like seeing it, BUT, as pointed out had he not got out of the way promptly he was getting carried off from a nasty two footer. Also, he probably thought that he deserved an end reward for the fantastic drag back and turn in the lead up and that attempted tackle just served it up on a platter for him!

Highly unlikely I know, but I would start with Cisse on the left, with Kewell playing off Crouch. Kewell and Cisse could also obviously swap positions during the course of the game and that may drag the WH defenders all over the place. And assuming Alonso is fit, he would be in the middle with Momo, and Gerrard out right, and he too could also swap during the game iwth Kewell.

Jusy my own opinion but with the final 'only' being against a likely to bve injury hit West Ham I would personally start with our FA Cup line up today or as close as fitness allows. However, I would also have a couple of the young uns on the bench and hopefully after 65 mins the game will be sewn up and we can bring them on.

Know or seen nothing of him in real life but he was always one of the best defenders in the Championship Manager games! (Which have him down as both a centre back and right back) Had we not already signed Krompkamp then I could see some credance in this as back up / rotation to Finnan. Maybe if we have Agger as rotation for Sami, then Bonera could be rotation for Carra, with the ability to come in at right as well. But that would be one large squad of players all exepcting to be first team regulars...
