    One of my very best mates is a Geordie. I've not even responded to him about yesterday as I don't think the level of abuse and bile id throw his way would do much to strengthen the bonds.

    Haha. Mrs B says this about me and the kids all the time. Usually when we have sneaked a biscuit instead of broccoli behind her back. Always baffles me this and pre dates Slot. The other world beating forwards of recent years got license to shift about a bit. Getting no joy out of the full back then go and spend 15 minutes on the other side. I know there's a shape and system but for talents of his magnitude you'd hope we could make it work.

    Can't remember hearing our lot out sung by anyone but we were yesterday. Was rubbish. Rubbish enough to make you a bit concerned. Newcastle have a way of playing us and against us that causes us problems. They seem to massively raise their game. Yesterday we appeared to do little to nothing to counter that. Huge game against Everton now.

    We understandably talk about rotation in terms of freshness but form is almost as important. The ability to sit someone down who is toiling for a few games while a squad player has sparkling few weeks is huge. This team is full of top quality players. They will want to come out at Anfield and give Everton a hiding and we can all calm down a bit.

    I'd assumed he was incapable of putting one foot in front of the other to explain Gakpo in a mobility scooter getting on ahead of him. Looked lively

    Newcastle consistently bully us in midfield usually helped by mad reffing but I'd like to have the option of a bit more "mascherano" in midfield for games like this.

    He's in dire form. I know Mo did f*** all but with Jota and Diaz teams can just stack up on Mo. Whilst I want him sold for now we need Nunez against s*** house teams like Newcastle.
