irish fans travelled to cardiff on mixed coaches for the carling cup final no trouble but coaches parked at united end and a few younger lads who were wearing liverpool colours got punched, spat at, chased. moscow may well be different but airports are secure places and are the last place you want to have a fight with armed police with twitchy trigger fingers i'm sure there will be some fighting in and around the city but there always is, often between fans of same team i just don't see there being mass running battles in a city like moscow because the police/military presence will be so intimidating that people will know not to f*ck around visa requirement will also restrict numbers i think its madness if as andy a said there are no turnstiles especially after last year but we have had all spanish, italian finals in the past and if an all english final causes mayhem and deaths well then maybe a ban will be justified but after uefa slapping inter on the wrist last year i expect that unless there was complete armageddon there would be no serious sanctions my only real concern would be a stampede or surge in the stadium and deaths caused by trampling but i have no idea what the ground is like but if a body of fans charge the other then that may be an issue
