i really think that if united beat barca tomorrow it will be a huge distraction at least for the fans for our game on wednesday with all that an united-liverpool final entails carra and gerrard would be one booking away from missing it and that would be on his mind more than missing any other final they have grown up in liverpool and know what it would mean to win such a game

wonder if it will influence our game on wednesday i.e. united waiting for the winner may affect some of the players (gerrard, carra) who would understand the significance of such a game it would be potentially the biggest occasion in sport (certainly in this part of the world) for a very long time
