Can't help but seeing the RH on the front of the mans jacket and the expression on his face and thinking..."Really Hopeless"
-
Is there an reason why we can't see the edges of that picture........Roys special type of punishment for players that may actually be any good?
-
Remember it well..
-
I don't really believe it myself...just musing on the desperate state of things......

Ta!

Puslow claims to be a fan....Broughton clearly isn't..what if none of them are? We are constantly and consistently being lied to. The debacle with the quality of manager, the quality of signings, the fact that we give our promising youngsters away, the fact that our best players WILL want to leave, the fact that we are going backwards? Lets face it if we had a chance to dismantle the mancs from within...we'd end up with something like we are going through at old trafford. Maybe we are systematically being ruined by people who would love to see it happen? Sounds like paranoid rubbish but how else can you explain the abject desperation surrounding the club at the moment?

Won't forgive you for anything you tiresome sycophantic super fan, I didn't want him here in the first place and NOTHING that has happened in the season so far has made me change my mind... If we weren't in total s*** as a football club we would not be happy with the appointment so why should we be now..... And as for the name calling....if there is a prize exponent of c*** ishness on this board you see him every morning in the mirror
-
You won't stop will you......if you think you might lose an argument...you just try and twist the topic back to Rafa.....pathetic this justification of "anyone but Rafa" and a refusal to accept the facts of the season so far....RH is so out of his depth he needs one of those special suits and airlines just to stay alive.

I can't support a manager that clearly does not support his players, that clearly is tactically way off the game for an LFC manager and who seems completely clueless and ready to roll over for his LMA mates. I didn't want him in the first place but now I want him gone and hope to god that when we get new owners he is dispatched swiftly.

Of course you don't however if our new super star signing for this summers transfer business was somebody past their sell by date or salif diao or god help us James Beattie then I think we would find some consensus on here about what they could possibly offer...if it was a complete unknown then of course I would reserve judgement. I certainly would not judge a player before they had kicked a ball but as with the players above I wouldn't be judging them before they had kicked a ball they would have a whole career on which to judge them....just as Roy has a whole career upon which we can base our expectations of what he can deliver. I DO NOT WANT HIM TO FAIL! However, all of the evidence that is available to me suggests that he might. I hope that he proves me wrong but there are no straws to clutch at from the evidence that is available to me.
-
are they? Hmmm I must have been confused in my previous post where I talked about how to judge a player and a manager and how it was different. You judge both by their actions/results/performance over their career though, or do we apply some other kind of logic there?
-
well except it isn't....that's the funniest post I've ever read on here seriously! It's a debate, you are allowed to back up a point of view with examples, facts, even wild assumptions but to not even attempt to do so makes somebody look very silly. I'm prepared to let others be the judge of which of us it is!
-
Do you know that's exactly the kind of response I expected. So they aren't the same...good I was hoping you'd say that. So if a player has a bad season, a bad game, a bad haircut, he can be judged upon that when? Every week, as soon as it happens? When should we get rid of a player? After a bad game, a run of bad games, one bad season, two bad seasons? Players often go through periods of bad form as well as good form, we as fans should extend to them the generosity to say that old cliche "form is temporary, class is permanent" and give them the benefit of the doubt...based upon a broader knowledge of that players potential / skill / previous performances are / have been. Obviously if a player is rubbish consistently, that player should be moved on. How does that differ from how we should judge a manager?...a manager has a bad season and is sacked...another manager has a good season and gets a better job....now if we apply the same criterion about form and class it should apply even more to managers than players as they have a longer career on which to judge them based upon cup wins, promotions, league positions etc etc. It should be (and indeed is mainly) these incontrovertible facts that decisions on suitability for management of any football club should be made. It is those same facts that would allow us (as fans) to judge any managerial appointment. made by our club. Clearly you don't agree and we shouldn't apply known facts about a managers record to form an opinion of the ambition of our football club relating to its future direction, nor should we question the wisdom of such a decision until new manager has played a game. RH has been in football donkeys years, he's played lots of games as manager for other clubs but all of a sudden they don't count? I wanted Rafa to be given another year with proper backing in the transfer market, but I also hope that RH belies his current managerial record and manages to do something good for our football club as this is the situation we are in. Unfortunately, there is very little class in evidence in the CV of our new manager but an awful lot of form. That is objective, I don't (even almost) want him to fail, I suspect (based upon evidence) that he will.
-
but lucas is our player so we should give him our full support irrespective of the fact that there may or may not be other players out there that are better than him...that's your argument re: RH so apply it evenly!!
-
he doesn't because it isn't true....xabi was always going to go as soon as his kid was born, we were lucky that he stayed for his last season with us...I know this to be the case
-
That's it I am done with this club until the owners ship out......
-
It's a disgrace....Chelsea and Broughton must be laughing their heads off at this......easy pickings how we have fallen
-
Comment From Rashid You probably won't answer this Tony like the last time; but 19 defeats, 11 in the league, with a team that finished 2nd last season... spent £17m on a crock and another £17 on a right back we didn't need more than we needed a striker, ale house football, and losing to teams who spent 1/10 of what we have over the past 6 years - and he didn't deserve the sack? LFC fans have "lost one battle"? - does Rafa pay you to write articles for him Tony? fecking hell
-
some absolute sh!te posted on here....This is not the end, it's not even the beginning of the end it is the way that this football club will be forever with those two muppets in charge. I am beyond depressed.
