aye, we had the chances to win but we did not take them. It was only very late in the day that the team seemed to sense that the game was ours for the taking. There were many positives yesterday, we kept Shevchenko quiet for a start, but from the first whistle to the last I fely our main wekness was a lack of absolute conviction that we could beat chelsea on their home patch. Just my opinion but for me the captains body language betrayed that lack of conviction for large chunks of the first hour.

agree. to win the league we need a bunch of players that truly believe we can win it and yesterday was proof enough that we don't have that. not by a long way. the lack of purpose and genuine belief displayed yesterday is far more worrying than our results.

I think it's a big problem. On the one hand I am glad that (whatever the eventual outcome) the club does it's business discreetly, but when the only information in the public domain is so clearly loaded it is difficult for fans to draw any conclusions.
