    We've also been to 3 EC finals in the last 8 years, winning one in the process with a dramatic semi final, thats better than most clubs in football so I can see why you'd be non fussed.

    Yeah the lack of consistent production from the other attacking players is an issue when he isn't on it or around. Even if he stays, we need to make changes in the final third.

    And it's going to be even more difficult for him to replicate this seasons form next year, with AFCON. Then the following season potentially it would be on the back of the World Cup.

    I think so too. I think theres more of a chance of him maintaining his level for years to come than Mo.

    Think Dembele being in the form of his career is what propelled them to this position, plus Kvara signing. Once they stopped playing ramos as a 9, things changed for them for the better

    resigning Virgil is a no brainer, offer him whatever he wants, as he easily has 3 more years in him if not more, he's the foundation of the back four.

    Frustrated still with the lack of killer instinct in front of goal last night. It will be great to win the league, but we still have areas to improve and get better in, which is a positive, there's more to this team for years to come [asssuming van Dijk and Mo resign....]

    Not confident in any player playing as the #9 right now. Gakpo just returning from injury doesn't help matters.

    We didnt take chances on the night, thats the crux of it. We created enough but the finishing wasnt what we have produced this season. The timing is s*** but thats football. We got lucky last week, we didnt tonight or with the draw. Im worried about the cup final purely bc of the exhaustion and injury to trent (seems like ibou will be ok)
