    I love the guy. One of the most important players in the XI, couldn't be happier with him. Only wished we signed him a few years earlier.

    He was a joy to watch but equally as frustrating. To not get any of his attempts on target today was criminal....you can forgive the one where Nunez slipped him in and he takes a heavy tough.....that can happen. What you can't do is miss the target when you've been put through 1 on 1.

    Performance wise, Gakpo aside every one of them should hold their heads up high. Tremendous effort to dominate arguably the best side in the world from the 15min onwards.

    Oliver and whoever the c*** on VAR (was it Atwell), as well as the PGMOL have a lot to f***ing answer for. Another 2 points robbed by their incompetence/corruption.

    Quansah looked like he was running in treacle all night, not sure if the pitch had something to do with it or if he's just really slow to turn and run backwards, he and Robbo were guilty of the same. Targeted and easily picked apart in behind. Noticed it at USG as well.

    Roma look very impressive under De Rossi, the Dybala Lukaku partnership is working a real treat for him. Some of the goals (not helped by individual mistakes from the likes of Dunk) and chances they created/scored yesterday were class. Wouldn't want them in the last 8, for sure not.

    He was unplayable even before the hit and miss finishing. Now that shot conversion is slowly creeping up, he's entering unstoppable territory.

    Not sure what Van Dijk's got to do with anything. Ali making a few mistakes can happen and is very different to rolling over as a team.

    Really poor giveaway on the edge of Madrid's box but nice breakaway by Jude. Ok game on again.

    They did in the first 15-20mins, Openda's had 1 or 2 sighters including one where he could've just rolled it into the net on his weaker foot but chose to walk it in.
