I was at high school when we won the league last (im 45 now) I thought then we'd always win something..... many is the time I thought we were due but despite the heartbreaks, we're here now and it feels great really great

completely agree with the absurdity of this idea of "clean slate" in August or whatever, I'd suggest that even if you did that and started from scratch, there's a fair chance of a new outbreak and another break, at which point you start again, again?

he does look almost gladiatorial, changing his city shirt to the "....mighty and massive and everyone knows it when they see it.." white madrid shirt. Of course he'll stay at city whilst he has to *cough* (summer at the latest)

I do wonder whether the Saracens ban has influenced UEFA. It was so big in a sport so much relatively poorer than football, that the standard £50k fine slap on the wrist was just so much more obviously b0lox. It'll like get downgaded to a year, but it does feel like they're out next year and who knows where they'll be the year after...........

re the 3 team groups, wasnt that scrapped post 82 after the debacle of the Austria/Germany game? and memories of the Arg 6-0 Peru game from 78? I guess it gets more teams and money in so a few bent games probably just gets people talking in the pubs........

b0llocks to him, he made his nice comfortable bed of £notes going to fcking chelsea and basically said as he went "..its just business, I never really thought much of you, the fans ..." despite the clear adoration we felt for him at the time. I much prefer Babel who was a good deal sh1tter but a lot more respectful of the club post leaving Mascherano saying he hoped beating Utd in 2008(?) cheered us up a bit as he recognised hed left at a bad time and we werent doing well was good aswell. It doest take much to not really piss the fans off, if Suarez hadnt celebrated at the Nou Camp and instead done what Mo did vs Roma I reckon he'd still be liked also. Football is very emotional, so expect the appropriate levels of scorn and anger if you p1ss the fans off.........

apologies if this is a repost but have read a few articles saying this seasons champions league was the best ever and I've probably been too focussed on us to realise so the above is a nice little reminder.......(with a terrific ending obvs...... )
