    I think the stats crowd have backed us because they've seen arsenal's record across the season. They need to go on a massive winning run and there's no evidence to say they're going to do that.

    It's exactly this, we were on the doom timeline where we head into the Newcastle game two points ahead and arsenal are already beating forest. We are now back on the timeline where Salah scores in front of our end tomorrow and gives it his big arms out celebration.

    I'd been trying to brace myself for maybe getting beat tomorrow, as City could always turn up and our games against them are always a bit mad. But it would have made Wednesday feel very wobbly, especially with arsenal starting before us and possibly already being ahead when we kick off. Feels completely different now, a point tomorrow even would be enough to make arsenal heads drop.

    Bit of a concern if they keep winning til those two come back, but they weren't blowing sides away when they had their strongest side earlier in the season.

    I fancy us to beat Chelsea and Brighton if we're still in good shape by that point, think they'll both be packed in by then. Can't see arsenal winning that many games with the injuries they've got up front.

    I tried it with us losing on Sunday, beating Newcastle, and put our game against arsenal as a draw. Had arsenal to draw against Brentford, Bournemouth and Forest, which I could see happening. Had them winning the rest. We might drop a clanger in there, but that had us winning it easy.

    Feels reasonable enough if we think he's the one, I'm just still not sure what Slot really wants in a number 9.

    He signed a new contract with wolves, but probably the kind that lets him go for a decent fee/ if a big club comes in.

    I might be wrong but think Cunha looks more like the false 9 type. Slot hasn't really tried that this season, it's more like he wants the Szoboszlai role doing those bits.

    It's funny how it seems like Slot wants a number 9 who does quite a specific job that isn't about scoring all the goals, but it's not really a 'false 9' like Bobby. Feels more like an un-s***e version of Nunez would actually be ideal. So Isak I suppose.

    We're near the bottom of the table for distance covered by teams across the season if I remember correctly. That must count for something in terms of training intensity as you say.

    Feels like one that the owners claimed credit for after Quansah was getting in the first team. Get on the phone to Pearce to remind everyone that it was our idea not to replace Matip.

    I'm still supporting Extra Time FC. Feels unlikely but it would be good for city to get the first next week.
