Alvarez would have been sound. You see from these things that the running joke about 'monitoring' does actually involve a lot of testing the water/ plate spinning. Seems like we were definitely in for Kvara in January, but might have come in too late to sort the Nunez to Saudi deal.

We've all been burned, the transfer window thread has lost all the joy of watching jarg YouTube compilations and saying some player we'd never heard of before would be perfect for us. That being said, we did manage to sign Mac Allister, Dom and Gravenberch for about £100m combined in amongst all our grumbling, and they're about to win us the league. Fans of other teams (arsenal) must think we're mad for complaining about our transfer strategy.

I'm waiting til summer to get wound up about our inevitable low-balling, just gonna get mildly excited about maybe signing kerkez for now. He looks the business and has also had a haircut. I don't really know if I can be bothered with the inevitable hoo-har around an arsenal guard of honour. I mean they can do it if they want. But I'm not really interested in what arteta has to say about us. I don't particularly dislike their players, their fans are weird, but I'd rather tune them out and get on with enjoying us winning the league.

From the BBC: But Chris Haymes, of The 1958 group that organised the protest, said Ratcliffe is being tainted by his association with the Glazer family. "Sir Jim has to make some tough decisions but he seems to be a shield for the Glazers at the moment," he added. Poor old Sir Jim, he's having to put up with them licking his boots while he's making these tough decisions too.

It's felt as though Slot might not fancy him because of his stature + lack of pace. But the way Endo's won him round shows that Slot's happy for players to change his mind. Should be real encouragement to all the players who are on the periphery.

Always thought he should be watching videos of Bernardo Silva. That's how he gets to be an important player for Liverpool.

We definitely had it as well with Klopp, but it's funny seeing how refs can't be arsed with arsenal this season. Good old referees, refereeing games based on grudges instead of actual refereeing

The trouble is that any attempt to engage with it will just drive their numbers, probably lead to their socials posting screenshots of your message with "reds fans rattled within an inch of there lives " I avoid TNT coverage most of the time these days but watched last night. Ferdinand really is a simpleton. -

Yeah winner gets champions league, there's a scenario where villa miss out on top 5 but win the CL, United or spurs win the Europa, and there are 7 English sides in the CL next season. Unlikely, mind you. -
