    Ludicrous

I can't help but agree with this!
  2. Well it is 2-0 to the scum now. It will be a long wait to next Monday when WE WILL put things right.
  3. Sorry, but this my first option!
  4. Even more depressing the fact that by the time we play our next league game, the scum could already have overtaken us and are top of the table putting extra pressure on us in the derby game and let's face it, Everton are the form side at the moment! I am depressed!
  5. Worringly, and I think I heard this right, the commentator on Setanta said that we had excatly the same point last year at the same stage! if that's true, why does everyone think that this season we are a much more accomplished side? except for beating United and Chelsea this season (who have been worse teams than last year), have we really moved on! Also from memory, January was a horror month for us last year, let's hope it is not the same this year
  6. Somebody said this is not true....it is true. The substitutions when things are not going well (generally) are not very good, don't change the game and very predictable.
  7. Don't blame me, blame Rafa...he never drops Kuyt, so I was only allowing for that fact!

    Ludicrous

I just think we lacked creativity to penetrate a well organised Stoke team. Alonso is massive loss!
  9. I think with the exception of Dirk for Babel as before the match, you could not drop Dirk after his recent performances
  10. Good point. Rafa is great in the CL specially away because we set up to contain the other team and they move in for the kill when the time is right or when the opportunity presents it self. Against lower teams in the PL, we should approach the game differently, be positive, set up to attack, play the top strikers at the start and take the initiative. I am not a football expert, but I have always heard the experts say, attack is the best defence. They way we were set up against Stoke today, was to first and foremost not to conceed ground in midfield rathen than swarm the penalty area with attacking players. There were 3 moments in the first half when Dirk picked up the ball on the side of the penalty area of Carra or Reira and there was not even a single liverpool player in the penalty box!
  11. For me, I coule almost feel that after the first 20 minutes it was heading for 0-0 draw and I agree about your predictability comment
  12. He was frustrating. The issue that you know Gerrard even if not playong well could come up with a moment of magic and Masch never loses a physical battle. All 3 struggled today, so the only choice out of the 3 was Lucas.
  13. Just baffled as to why: 1. When Reira seemed like the one that could unlock their defence with his crosses, he was taken off 2. That we started with Kuyt in attach as the lone stryker 3. That Keane did not come on at all 4. That Lucas stayed on despite physically losing almost every battle in midfield 5. That Ben Ayon was kept on when looked so ineffective. Carra is doing a good job defensively on the right, but at the top of the pitch, he struggles to put decent crosses. Hopefully, the scum and Chelsea will draw tomorrow!
  14. Alonso Elzahr Keane At least they did not have a bad performance! But the ones that played, very difficult question, but I will go with: 1. Hyypia 2. Skrtel 3. Riera
  15. Agree. Tempting faith big time and it is just plain wrong. One match at a time
  16. I love Rafa. It is a concrn though his comment about the new contract. Come on Parry, get your f%#*ing act together
  17. Actually Sheffield Wed. But really good post
  18. Forgot to mention Mark Kennedy
  19. Add to the list: titi camara, Song, nunez, Mike Hooper, Mike Marsh, Mark Gonzales, Tony Warner
  20. Owen is special. May be he did not have the chrisma or did not endear him self to the crowd as much as the others, but if he remained at Liverpool for the rest of his career, I think he would have broken many records and became the TOP Striker. I have never seen Dalglish, but a 20 year old Torres or a 20 year old Owne, it is Owen for me
