The scum only beat managerless Sunderland in the last minute at home this season and only managed 1-0 against Wigan. Struggled away to Stoke. Going back to last season, they drew at home on route against Reading 0-0 who went down. Beat struggling Fulham in the last minute 2-1 away etc. etc. The point is, no team can win all matches 3 or 4 nil. Using your squad, grinding out results, getting the rub of the green here and there, and being on the recieving end (like when we played Spurs this season) is all part of the roller coaster.

No one is perfect, and I am not sure if Rafa should not shoulder some of the blame for Keane's failure!

I for one disagree. Keane is quality, he has proven track record. Kuyt is definitely less prolific and Babel is just potential. May be it has not worked out for Keane at Anfield, and we will never know if given time, he would have settled and proved his doubters wrong, but there is no denying that he is quality and has a proven track record as a PL goal scorer. Sad to see him leave without proving himself and defintely without a replacement yet, it weakens our squad this season.

Against England in Feb when the centre backs are Ferdinand and Terry. Surely they wont be that dirty and go for him!

One of the sweetest things about the CL semi final win against Chelsea 2005, it was the goal was controversial and that really upset Morinho for few years and still does. I can't see us beating Man U at OT 4-0 which would be the perfect way to overtake them. The next sweetest thing would be a Gerrard dive for a controversial penalty and we win 1-0 to go top and stay top till May and for years after. I am not Kuyt's biggest fan, and as forward whether on the right or when played in the centre, he does not score enough goals! However, his contribution today was very good. Watch the match again and watch the number of times he won headers, flick ons, won the ball back for us, kept the shape of the team and the right side of Chelsea pegged back and worked tirelessly to support others. Surely that counts alot or am I wrong!
