  1. Same for me and I though Degan was good as well
  2. I thought he played very well, and as you say some of his passes cut through their defence like hot knife through butter, but Leeds are not a PL side. I also thought that Degan looked very good tonight
  3. same 4 me
  4. I also think we are no where as bad the media say we are. We have not hit top form with some key players as well. But still 4 wins this season out of 6 and if we continue to grind results for the time being, whether by luck or playing slightly better than the opposition, our time will come and even Vog and Ngog will be all right, I am sure of it.
  5. Rafa actually played him on the right which I have always thought where he should be tried for few games. I never understood why he has always been regarded as a left sided winger when he is naturally right footed and quite poor with his left!?
  6. Same for me
  7. One question that I still have in my head...how did he pass his medical!
  8. Do you not remember that?
  9. Chillie's Rochas in 1989 qualifier against Brazil....used ketchup to fake injury! Got Chilli banned for 2 years
  10. I don't understand the doom and gloom as well. Without looking at the real facts and comparing this year's start to last year, and based on a hunch and memories, I don't think we started brilliantly last season. The last minute win against Boro, the draw at home to Hull and Stokes and stuttering against City and Wigan. I am sure they were all early in the season. The pivotal moment last year which gave every one belief and could be the corner stone this season again, was the match against Chelsea away. We outplayed them and beat them at stamford bridge and that got the players, the fans and the media to believe in us. This year, the same scenario is likely again. Our clash with Chelsea will be vital and I will not assess our chances of the PL until after that match.

    Dirk

He may not be as sexy as Ronaldo on the wing, or as fast as someone like Lennon, BUT: 1. He is a great team player 2. He will always sweat blood for the cause 3. You can guarantee 100% every time 4. He never let's his head go down....fighting to the end if we are winning 4-0 or losing 4-0 That's all you can ask for! Absolutely love him
  12. He has a great record against the scum....19 league games, never scored!
  13. Yossi Gerrard Lucas
  14. SORRY! wrong theory!
  15. Yes, but it was not on their shirt! The only one I am not sure about is Blackburn in 95.
  16. May be the curse is over! I have always had this theory that no team with Alcohol selling company on their shirt would win the PL! Am I right in my assumption?!
  17. Arguably he will never be classed in the same league as Rivaldo, Zidane, or even Bergkamp by some punters (not by me!), but I can't think of a modern footballer who has more spectacular goals, or more influencing goals than Gerrard! we are so lucky to have him and once he hangs his boots, we will sorely miss him!
  18. What a pass by Kaka as well!
  19. What do you think of Lucas's performance so far! since you think he is MoM even if he is invisible when he plays for us
  20. Masch booked!
  21. 3 free kicks to Brazil, 2 goals, and the 3rd on 42 minutes could have easily been the third goal but for a great instinctive save!
  22. Great save by Cezar, the Brazilian keeper who apparently "is the best keeper in the world" according to Gary Birtles 39 minutes gone
