I don't know why everyone is surprised by the decision to rest AA and Nando? AA did not look match fit on Sunday and he would do much better coming as a second half sub when the players have tired a bit rather than start. I would be surprised if he did not get at least 15-20 minutes today, then the alarm bells would ring Torres has been out for few weeks and to expect him to play 2 games in the space of 4 days, is too much. If this was an international every one on this forum would have been in outrage if he played. Again much better coming as a second half sub to inflect damage (if required) once their defense has tired. As for Kev's comment, I think the bench is well balanced today, 2 defenders, a defensive midfielder, an attacking midfielder and an attacker. What's the problem?

Absolutely, we never complained of our good fortunes last year with the many last minute wins, which were deserved on the basis of hard work and desire...This season though, we have lacked both IMO in many games.
