Bad that it's came out. Gives Villa time to see what Adrian is weak on in comparison to Alisson and plan some set pieces etc

A lot of leaks from the club these days. Not transfers but injuries seem to be leaked regularly.

I agree with that. No time this window anyway. I think he'd start thinking about a better back up or long term replacements if Alisson gets injured more regularly.

That was a one off at the time. If it keeps happening it's a different situation. Getting injured once is fair enough. Getting injured for 8 weeks a season every season as a keeper is a big enough deal. But it's not happened yet.

Why? It's a hypothetical situation, I doubt he'll have thought about it unless Alisson starts picking up more injuries. We've been linked with keepers since Adrian joined. Could be agents using us tbf. Edit: that original post should say no sub keeper should play more than 2 or 3 times a season in the league.

No.2 keepers should play 2 or 3 times a season in the league. If Alisson is out for 6 weeks, after having 2 spells out totalling about 10-15 games then we need a better back up.

That was for 8 games at the start of his Liverpool career. He also made an awful mistake against Southampton while in good form. I wouldn't trust him to play for 6 weeks.

If Alisson is injured it's getting worrying how many injuries he's picking up for a keeper. We'll need a better back up if it keeps happening.

I think we can easily cope without Fabinho in midfield if Henderson and Thiago are fit.

Need to win to take advantage of City dropping points. 8 points, or even 5 if they win their game in hand is a big lead this early.

Hopefully City continue like this at the back against us. I always think we miss chances against them.
