You can’t say he was no where near as talented as Trent and not be underplaying him. Trent can more talented than him in your opinion by all means but there is no meaningful scale that has Beckham as “nowhere near” on the talent scale.

I think maybe in the short term for 22/23, it dug us out of a hole cos the lads in there couldn’t run so finding another person in there helped. I never liked it long term. You can’t just have a whole side of the pitch with no one there. People will notice.

Wider pointing Rafa, why is he s*** now and when did it start. 2 league titles with Valencia and a European cup with us. I don’t think if he took over ours or PSG’s squad or presided over City’s squad over the last few years, then any of them would have been as good. Mourinho is s*** now too and look at all what he did. Did these guys just not update or was it circumstantial?

People do change. I think society has moved more in Beckham’s direction than Carra’s for instance. Even look on here. I bet loads like urbane Remainerism while sneering at much of what represents civic pride in the form of saying “but what about here”

I think that make the switch advert is a c***’s trick. The other adverts are just a sign of the life he wants to sign up for. I haven’t got an issue with them per se. Who the f*** am I to tell him what f***ing ads he should be in that don’t affect anyone. I do think he’s leaving mine and his club to go be an international super ponce, so yeah, I’ve got some thoughts on that.
